Benzaknen® 10% Gel

1g of gel contains: 100mg of benzoyl peroxide

For severe acne and acne conditions where the use of a lower concentration benzoyl peroxide preparation has not been successful.

Benzaknen 10% Gel is a high-strength acne treatment with 10% benzoyl peroxide, formulated to reduce acne-causing bacteria, unclog pores, and control excess oil.

Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin once daily at the beginning, then increase to twice daily if tolerated. Avoid the eyes, lips and irritated skin, and wash hands after application. The safety and efficacy of Benzaknen® have not been studied in children under 12 years of age, as acne vulgaris is rare in this age group.

Possible side effects include redness, peeling, dryness, burning and increased skin sensitivity—these are common during the first days or weeks. Reduce frequency if irritation is strong. Avoid sun exposure during treatment, and discontinue use if severe irritation occurs.
